Septic Pumping

Septic systems are designed to hold solid wastes and remove the liquids. Regular pumping prevents backups, reduces maintenance costs, and extends the life of your septic system. We can advise how often your septic tank should be pumped based on your system and residents in the household. Our scheduling team is available to provide service times, we can also put you on our schedule for regular pumping frequencies.

Holding Tank

Holding tanks are different than septic tanks as nothing leaves the holding tank until it is pumped out. So whether you know how much time passes between your holding tank filling up or your alarm goes off that it’s full we will pump the tank empty as needed.

Grease Trap

Grease traps are a specific kind of system that works similar to a septic system where the grease solids are contained and the water will leave the tank. Regular service is necessary as grease will not break down and if left too long the solid grease forms can be costly to chisel through and remove. Regular pumping or call as needed services are our specialty, if there is a backed up grease system with formed solids we can recommend other companies that would come in to break that down.

Common Myths About Septic Pumping

Myth – Regular pumping is required even with a well-functioning system.  Septic systems are continuously moving water into the drain field while keeping solid wastes contained, at some point the solid wastes will only break down so much and will need to be removed.

Myth – COULD be true however there are many factors that determine when a septic tank will need pumping like the age, size, how many people are using, and the weather.

Myth – Absolutely there are things that cause major issues whether you have a septic system or holding tank. Flushing things like wipes, grease, and medications will impact how your system works and how the wastes inside break down. Wipes and grease do not break down at all therefore causing more buildup in the tank, clogging lines, etc. Medications that are flushed or even deposited through normal human waste can interfere with the chemical makeup of the wastes and cause issues.

Myth – you really shouldn’t need any additives if your tank is working properly, the bacteria and chemicals from the wastes will work to break down solids without any additives, when you add outside substances that is when it throws off the chemical makeup.
